Testimonials from my clients
Kelley sold our condo last year, and even though the market was falling, and people all around us were lowering their prices in a panic, Kelley kept us focused and upbeat (and we got a great price). She's got a keen eye for staging (listen to her), a brilliant work ethic, and a clear and grounded understanding of the real estate market. If you don't have a realtor, call Kelley first. If you have realtor you're not happy with, switch to Kelley! We recommend her wholeheartedly. Kelley rocks!

Kelley Ann Foy is a wonderful realtor and I highly recommend her. She was so pleasant and helpful on the phone when I called to inquire about a listing her office was offering. The listing was not suited for us, but Kelley took the time to inquire about and determine what my husband and I needed. We are a military family and had to do some advance work over the phone since the Air Force only allowed 10 days of leave to find housing. Kelley e-mailed me descriptions of properties to review and set up a schedule to show them. We were looking for raw land to develop and planned to place a manufactured home on it. Kelley saved us hundreds of thousands of dollars by sending us to the planning commission before we made any offers on property. Due to costal commission regulations land that looked like a good site for a 2000 sq. ft. home was totally unbuildable for anything over 500 sq. ft.! Thank goodness for her insistence that we check with the city planners before putting in a bid - we would have waisted several precious days and perhaps a lot of money. She found us a beautiful acre in Prunedale close to shopping and only 20 minutes from the Naval Post Graduate school in Monterey. We put in an offer on day seven of our leave and we accepted a counter offer on day nine. By day 10 it was time to head home and we could leave knowing that escrow had already been opened. Prior to our making an offer she gave us several referrals to lenders who specialized in construction loans. After all is said and done our mortgage will be equal to our military housing allowance and we will be in a brand new 1600 sq ft. craftsman style home on one acre! We are ecstatic since our building project will cost between 100k- 200 k LESS than purchasing an existing single family home of any kind, condo or house. I strongly urge anyone who is listing land to list with Kelley, because she is well versed in the needs of land developers. She knows the ins and outs of land development from perk tests to soil stability tests and can assist total green horns like us (we have never built before). I also strongly urge any military families to work with Kelley, since both she and her husband have served our country in the Navy and she is well versed in VA funding and base housing allowances, in addition to her knowledge of conventional loans. In closing I would like to say that Kelley is a remarkable realtor who really loves what she does. She drove us all the way to the end of Tasajara Rd, up mountains, down into valleys and crossed several small bridges. She showed us Southern Santa Cruz County, Northern Monterey County and the Carmel Valley. She even kept snacks and water in the car for us on our long journeys. She never once complained or suggested that our land purchase might not be worth her time and effort, even though we knew her sales commission was much less working with land as opposed to an existing house. There is just not enough I can say about her. Try giving her a call, I'm sure you'll see as we did, she's not just an agent, she's a trusted friend. Sincerely, Christi Dea (future resident of Prunedale)
